My mom taught me one thing:
You don’t always have to tell people you love them. You just have to give them no reason to doubt it.

INNISFREE: It’s Real Squeeze Mask - Strawberry and Rose

Strawberry: This mask claims to be moisturising and provide bright and clear skin. From my experience, the moisture was definitely there - I did the mask before I slept and my skin was so smooth and soft the next morning! As for the brightening factor, my skin was definitely brighter after using it and I noticed my skin wasn’t as dull the next day. The mask smells like strawberry yumyum. I would purchase this again :)

Rose: This mask claims to be moisturising and provide soft and glowing skin. The smell was really nice but the mask itself was quite sticky. Overall it was quite average in all the aspects - wasn’t that moisturising. I was a bit skeptical about this because I wasn’t sure how different “bright” and “glow” were but as it turns out, this one didn’t provide either effects. It was a bit disappointing~

HOLIKA HOLIKA: Aqua Petit Jelly Watery Cheek Blush No.2 Peach Pink Review

Hello lovelies~ please excuse my chipped nail polish in the photo xD
I wanted to try this product because their Aqua Jelly Petit BB cream is one of my holy grail products so I thought why not try the blusher (great reasoning, I know xD) plus I’ve always wanted to try a liquid blusher. Liquid blushers seem more “natural” to me because it doesn’t have a powdery feel/look.

As per usual, read more for the full review :)

HAUL: Book Depository!

If there’s one thing I like to hoard more than makeup and skincare, it’s books. I’ve actually always had a dream of having my own private library some day, like a walk-in wardrobe but book version. Buuut that doesn’t mean I randomly go and buy books that I won’t even read. I’m also the type of person who would prefer to spend a day inside reading a book rather than going out.

Anyway, I went a bit crazy on book depository because the prices are so much cheaper than buying them in store and it’s free shipping!

Seriously…I’m Kidding - Ellen Degeneres
Rebecca - Daphne Du Maurier
And Then There Were None - Agatha Christie
The Murder of Roger Ackroyd
- Agatha Christie
The Little Prince - Antoine De Saint-Exupéry
Lullabies - Lang Leav
The Picture of Dorian Gray - Oscar Wilde
Looking For Alaska - John Green
Gone Girl - Gillian Flynn (finished this! looking forward to see the movie)
The Collected Works of Edgar Allan Poe

Have you guys read any of these books? I’d love to know!

September 2014 Playlist

Hi hi it’s time for my September playlist! I didn’t get to listen to much music during September because I was busy with assignments :( There’s a few Ailee favourites (Ailee’s songs never fail to make it to my favourites) even though they were more towards the end of September. I hope you find some songs you like :D
